UiExplorer

                         UiExplorer is one of the powerful tools provided by UiPath, which is embedded within the UiPath studio under design menu. This tool help to capture selector and refine the selector. Below is how UiExplorer will look like



Following are the different sections inside this UiExplorer

Selector Editor : 

                     All the tags from the root element to the current element selected are displayed in this section. By default some tags are selected, to refine the selector to make it much unique from other elements, select the other tags that make this selector unique. 

Visual Tree :

                     This section display all tags in the order from root to current element. This displays tags related to windows level. This shows the outline of all tags in their order.

Property Explorer:

                     This section displays all the properties related to the current selected tag. This consists of attributes related to the current element and various other attributes related to the current window.

Attributes Section:

                      This section displays all the attributes present for the current tag which is selected. By default UiPath selects few attributes to form the selector. But you can select more or remove them by check\uncheck the respective attributes. This reflects the selector that was displayed in the below selector pane. This is one of the ways to refine the selector.
                      All the attributes that have dynamic value should be removed or you should update the selector with wildcard characters to eliminate dynamic values in attributes.

Selector Pane:

                      The default selector was generated and displayed in this pane. You can update the selector by selecting\deselecting required tags from selector editor. You can also update selector by selecting\deselecting  required attributes from attributes pane. 
                       Once you got the updated selector copy and use it with the required activity by pasting it in selector property.

Menu Bar:

 Select Target Element: Click this to generate selector for the required element.
 Select Relative Element: Click this to select relative element to current element.
 Validate: Click this to validate the generated\modified selector.
 Reset: To reset the uiexplorer to initial state.
 Highlight: To highlight the current element for which the selector was generated.
